His & Her Ecopinion*: simplyneutral
simplyneutral was developed when Maggie began reacting to conventional cleaning products.
After her second child was born, Maggie decided to quit her full-time job and stay home with her kids. To supplement the family’s income, she worked part-time cleaning homes. Within a few months, she developed a rash that spread from her hands to her arms and eventually to her face.
“I eventually became allergic to all of my beauty products,” says Maggie. “And, it all started with an over-exposure to the chemicals in my cleaning products.”
Maggie and her sister-in-law, Sara, decided to develop a line of cleaners that didn’t contain any of the toxic chemicals found in most conventional cleaners. They also wanted to avoid any dyes, fragrances, or other synthetic preservatives.
“A lot of green cleaners I tried didn’t have the muscle to get through tough jobs. I needed something that would help me get in and out of homes quickly,” says Maggie. “It had to really work!”
After months of research, working with chemists, and testing out different formulas, they found the cleaner they were looking for.
“We found the perfect balance of strength and gentleness,” says Sara. “It’s hypoallergenic for Maggie’s sensitive skin, yet it breaks through even the toughest household dirt!”
Try it once and you’ll agree.

Eco products she tried either didn’t work well enough or caused reaction in her body.
Thus began Maggie’s mission to create a line of non-toxic, plant-based cleaners that are gentle enough for people with asthma, allergies, and multiple chemical sensitivities AND cut through dirt as well as conventional cleaners. Read more…
